Jr. Grizzlies Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

The Jr. Grizzlies Football Program is dedicated to fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and respect among all participants. We expect all players, coaches, parents, and spectators to uphold these values at all times, both on and off the field.

Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the program.

Player Code of Conduct

As a Jr. Grizzlies athlete, I will:

  • Respect my teammates, coaches, opponents, and referees at all times.
  • Give 100% effort in practices, games, and team activities.
  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship, win or lose.
  • Follow instructions from coaches and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Prioritize safety by following all training and game guidelines.
  • Take responsibility for my actions and be a team player.
  • Represent Jr. Grizzlies with pride in all settings, including social media.
  • Abstain from bullying, taunting, or using inappropriate language.

Zero-Tolerance Policy: Any act of violence, fighting, or intentional harm to others will result in immediate suspension or removal from the team.

Coach Code of Conduct

As a Jr. Grizzlies coach, I will:

  • Lead by example and model professionalism at all times.
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment for all players.
  • Teach life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and accountability.
  • Follow safety protocols and prioritize player well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and officials.
  • Refrain from abusive language, negative criticism, or favoritism.

Violation of coaching ethics may lead to suspension or dismissal from the program.

Parent & Spectator Code of Conduct

As a Jr. Grizzlies parent or supporter, I will:

  • Encourage my child and all players to do their best.
  • Respect coaches, referees, and other parents.
  • Refrain from coaching from the sidelines—let the coaches do their job.
  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all games and events.
  • Never use profanity, insults, or engage in disruptive behavior.
  • Follow all team guidelines regarding attendance, participation, and communication.

Any parent or spectator who engages in aggressive, violent, or disruptive behavior will be asked to leave and may be banned from future events.

Disciplinary Actions

  • Verbal Warning – Minor infractions will result in a warning from coaches or officials.
  • Written Notice – Repeated violations will be documented, and further consequences may follow.
  • Suspension or Removal – Severe or repeated violations will lead to suspension or removal from the program.

Jr. Grizzlies reserves the right to enforce disciplinary measures at its discretion to maintain a safe and positive environment for all participants.

Agreement & Acknowledgment

By participating in Jr. Grizzlies Football, players, parents, and coaches agree to follow this Code of Conduct.
